This is a really easy marinade for tuna steak, which turns out delicious 🙂
3 tbsp white wine vinegar, 1.5 tbsp sesame oil, 3 cloves minced garlic, a large knob of ginger (also minced), 1 tbsp tamari soy sauce and a pinch of salt/pepper.
I cut the tuna into chunks, and marinated for about an hour. I then pan-seared it in some coconut oil, before reducing down what was left of the marinade with a bit more vinegar and soy sauce for the dressing. I added toasted sesame seeds, and served it with a mango relish (mango, pomegranate, coriander, tomatoes – I would have added chili, but we didn’t have any).
This would go really well with cauliflower rice as well, or any kind of salad!
