Slow-cooker ginger pork chops with plums

Pork and apple is a great combination, but seeing as juicy plums are in season now I decided to cook these pork chops with prunes.

I basically cooked the pork chops on low for about 11 hours with chicken stock, star anise, 3 large plums, an onion, celery, carrots and a few chunks of ginger.
